This project aims to pay homage to both of my Grandparent’s lives through imagery. I hope this can be a piece of work that others whose family has been affect by dementia and Alzheimer’s can connect with. I want this project to be poignant and show the fragility of life and how ageing debilitates people and affects their memory and life. The works in this book are supposed to freeze them in this moment so they can live forever in these images and the memory of them suffering with dementia, however sad, will live on through my work.
