Passengers is a study of Cromwell Road Bus Station in Kingston, London. Upon the reopening of the station in November 2024, I felt compelled to document the changes to the space. Throughout this, I found myself being drawn to the isolation I could feel in the space. With the upgrade of the station it transformed into a grand new space, but still contained the same people, just waiting for their busses. The environment was still mundane and cold, the isolation commuters can feel hadn't been removed. I wanted this series to focus on those all too familiar moments of isolation one can feel while commuting, especially in the capital city.
