Skin

Skin is our largest organ, it protects us and acts as a barrier to the outside world. We as humans shed our skin gradually every seven years - but what about skin that needs to come off sooner. This body of work is my way of presenting the shedding of skin as a metaphor for removing things from within your life that no longer serve you. Moving away from things that do not benefit you hurts, and it may not feel right and it can be scary, but i wanted to show this process delicately, make it a beautiful thing - something not to be afraid of, something that is needed.
